No shop, no display fridge, nothing baked before you ask for it. Here is exactly what happens, including the parts we cannot do.
Pick a cake and a baker
Every cake is made by a named person in Johor Bahru. You choose which cake and, if more than one baker offers it, which of them makes it.
Choose when it arrives
We need 24 hours. The cake is baked the day before it reaches you and chilled overnight — that overnight set is the recipe, not a delay we could skip.
Your baker bakes it
One cake at a time, to your slot. Nothing is baked in advance and nothing sits in a freezer waiting for an order.
It arrives chilled
Sealed in a Cake Pod with an ice pack and couriered the moment it is packed. Keep it in the fridge and eat it within two days.
Where the money goes
Your baker is paid for every cake they deliver, and their share is held aside the moment you order rather than at the end of a month. The rest covers the batter, the box, and getting it to you chilled.
Toppings cost the Hub more, so a strawberry cake costs you more than the original — but the baker earns the same on every cake they make. The work is the same, so the pay is the same.

- What does it cost?
- From RM 40.00, delivered. The price on each cake is the price you pay — there is no separate delivery charge and nothing is added at checkout.
- Where do you deliver?
- Johor Bahru, within about 15 km of the city centre. That limit is the cake, not the map — it travels chilled and we would rather not send it further than it survives well. Checkout tells you straight away if your postcode is outside it.
- What is in it? Allergens?
- Contains wheat (gluten), milk and dairy, eggs, soy. It is baked in a home kitchen, so nuts are handled on the same surfaces even though they are not in the recipe. If that matters to you, please do not order.
- Can I change the recipe — eggless, sugar-free, a different flavour?
- No, and not because it would be difficult. Every cake follows exactly the same recipe and timings — that consistency is what lets our bakers work at their own pace, and it is why the cake is as good on a Tuesday as it is on a Saturday.
- Can I add a message or a note?
- Yes. What we can add is a short handwritten note in the box; the occasion noted, so the baker knows it is a birthday; delivery instructions for the driver. All of it goes in the box rather than changing anything in the kitchen.
- Is it halal?
- The ingredients contain no pork and no alcohol, but the kitchen is not halal-certified. We would rather say that plainly than imply a certification we do not hold.
- Who bakes it?
- An independent micro-baker, working from their own kitchen, running their own small business. They are named on the cake you order and they are paid for every one they deliver.
- How do I pay, and what if something goes wrong?
- Payment is arranged when the order is placed. If something is wrong with your cake, a person sorts it out with you — you are not filing a ticket.
